Ancient Methods
There’s a primal punch to the industrial techno sounds of Ancient Methods. Their records sounds like gigantic machines, made of flesh and wood and metal, is roaming across the land, devouring everything in site and spewing out angry funk at the other end. The result is a surprisingly subtle kick in the gut that we are dying to see live.

Sun Worship
For all the severity of the fast paced assault of Sun Worship, they also create a spacious and strangely pretty atmosphere with their music. For being a band that, as far as we know, only have two songs on Bandcamp and a casette out, they combine brutality and beauty in a way that surpasses a lot of their more experienced colleagues – both in skill and energy.

Hanno Hinkelbein
Hanno Hinkelbein is Berlin royalty and a long time scenester and techno hero with ties to classic venues like Tresor and Suicide Circus. With a wicked smile he’s been in the business of dishing out dirty pounding acid and evil bassed out beats, for longer than you’ve lived here. This evening we think he also might be exploring his love of Godflesh and messed up dubstep, but then again, who knows?

The collective minds of three of Berlins’ finest join forces for a new night of power and bass, heat and audio rage. PURGE was conceived when Daniel Dodecahedron (GucciGoth), xorzyzt (BL4CK M4G1CK) and Tom Ass (The Darkness) worked together during the Drop Dead Festival in September of 2011. The ritual of DJing together was the synthesis of a shared longing: fog, heavy vibes, aural evil. Collaboration was inevitable. Combining the best of early industrial dance, post-hardcore influenced dubstep, black metal rave, and witched-out hip-hop, PURGE seeks to encourage spasms, violent dancing and the end of party apathy; when you enter our space, you are part of the cabal. Existence is Void: there is only the gift of fury.

HTRK (AU) use syrupy, trance-inducing beats and ice-cold electronics to slow the pulse to the point of death. Jonnine Standish’s vocals sweep across the floor in sultry waves of sable sound, forming a vortex that leaves the mind and body trapped in the most beautiful of torture gardens.

BRUISES (DE)
Somewhere between an acid-addled PJ Harvey and Jarboe at her strangest, BRUISES are a young Berlin-based duo formed of members from the universe-destroying reliq. It’s the binge beforehand; gorge yourself on melodies that both entrance and puncture.

Be told: while there is still darkness, there will be sound to make you sweat. The PURGE DJ Trio of xorzyzt (BL4CK M4G1CK), Tom Ass
(Gegen Berlin) and BlackBlackGold (Gucci Goth) will be playing sounds to wreak havoc on the body. Joined by apocalyptic prophet Easton West (Son of Cataclysm), they’ll be unleashing classics like Thrill Kill Kult and NIN, the doom-laden shrieks of Bone Awl and Gnaw Their Tongues, the full-frontal bass aggression of Deathface and Shizuo, and the drugged-out madness of SALEM and Death Grips. These men want one thing: to see you lost in the music, the power, the ritual.
